about Skye…

Skye Hardwick is the childhood photographer behind Work of Heart Photography; and has travelled the past two years around the country teaching her Soulographer Workshops.She believes photography is about more than the relationship between light and shadows — there is an undeniable heart-connection between an artist and their images.Skye is known as the children’s photographer who drags vintage furniture outdoors for sessions; and who wholeheartedly believes an old building, complete with peeling paint, will make the perfect backdrop for a portrait.She resides in the sunny Los Angeles California area with her husband Gary, and her son, Isaiah.

about Michelle…

Michelle Huesgen is a newborn, child and senior portrait artist
based in St. Louis, MO.  She resides with her husband Danny and her two
children Lukas and Stella.  Raised in a small town, she was
surrounded by rugged nature and the simple life. As a child she spent
many afternoons driving along the countryside admiring the colors and
landscapes of the great outdoors or traipsing barefoot through the
woods looking for run down shacks.

Today she strives to bring
those colors and landscapes into her portraits.  She believes in magic
and mystery, simple beauty and mystical style, but above all she
believes in love.  

The rolling laughter, profound happiness and
unavoidable strife that are forever found in its presence, are felt
through her work.  

With a large heart and even larger spirit, she aims to make the Soulsistas workshop one that will never be forgotten.
